Born in 1965 in Hull, grew up in Co. Durham, England. Formerly lived and worked in Spain and the Czech Republic; now based in the UK and working internationally.

PROFILE AND CURRENT WORK

Since 1999 Artistic Director of High Hat Theatre and a founder performer. We create movement-based theatre, specialising in outdoor spectacle and workshops with young people. I'm trained as a mime artist, physical theatre and dance performer, and am also a writer and musician. I also work as a freelance director and workshop leader, perform and lead workshop residencies in the UK and abroad, at festivals, theatres, colleges and schools. I've managed a High Hat team of up to 12 people, but also perform shows and deliver workshops solo; and we have a range of residencies and workshop projects ready to bring to all kinds of groups.
